Custodian Lead Worker – Grand Forks Air Force Base 

Monday - Thursday, some Fridays; 7:00 PM to Finish

15 - 25 hours per week

This position qualifies for a $1,200 Hiring Bonus*

n employee in this position would provide assistance to the Supervisor and Project Manager in overseeing daily operations. 

Essential Functions:

Under the direction of the Director of Vocational Systems, or designee, the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Train employees on required job tasks.
  2. Oversee the daily operations.
  3. Be familiar with all contract requirements.
  4. Assist the Supervisor and Project Manager as needed.
  5. Clean designated areas to contract specifications, to include all locations and assure all task are completed in a timely manner.
  6. Restock supplies as needed.
  7. Perform quality control checks, key control, and any other required paperwork. 
  8. Able to work various shifts as needed.
  9. Provide Transportation as needed, to people enrolled in services.
  10. All other duties as assigned.


  • Valid ND driver license.
  • A driving record that makes you insurable.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be reliable.
  • Must have initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Must complete a successful background check.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, reach and grasp items.
  • Ability to operate custodial equipment, to include vacuum, floor scrubber, buffer, wax tools, and carpet shampooer.
  • Ability to determine if employer standards have been met for cleanliness.
  • Must have good interpersonal and customer service skill
  • Must have a positive attitude and be reliable
  • Must have initiative and work as part of a team.
